Trio Immersio is dedicated to exploring Viennese music through the prism of time and space. That is why this CD is a journey through 3 centuries of both the history of the city of Vienna and its artistic transformations.
The pure and energetic classical style of Joseph Haydn's Trio in C major is a contrast to the refined and meditative Notturno by Franz Schubert.
The dramatic and grandiose C minor Trio by Johannes Brahms is followed by a heavy metal inspired set of six miniature 'schlechtecharackterstücke' by Bernhard Gander. Through the combination of these four pieces one can fully experience the acoustic palette of Vienna.
